Our website address is: https://coosewartha.co.uk.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Comments
It should not be possible to post comments on new items on this website, however this section remains for the sake of previous older parts of the sites which may be accessed through other means other than the designed navigation.
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website. Please note that many images are obtained from third party services, in which case creative commons licenses apply throughout.
Cookies
If you input any data on our site via comments or contact forms, you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site through a third party service such as the APC TW Network, Automattic or WordPress.com, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
On Coosewartha, these services include OpenStreetMap, Google, Issu, Automattic and Airbnb. Please refer to these website when gaining information on privacy policy.

Your contact information
Contact information from visitors of the site can only be obtained by Coosewartha through the Contact Form functionality. Details obtained through this form are used only for the purposes of the accompanying message from the author of the message.
If a booking results from this contact, the details are retained for the use of record keeping for booking management of the caravan. Any data owner can contact Coosewartha using the same details on the website in order to request any data held on them and the request to have their data removed.
Data from emails for these purposes can be held both offline in paper format and the cloud online services through our email services, managed by BT and Zoho.
Who we share your data with
Via this website, Coosewartha can only obtain any personal data volunteered by visitors inputting information into the appropriate Contact forms. Any data obtained in this manner will not be shared with any other third party, and will only be used for the purposes of holiday bookings relevant to the enquiry written by visitors.
How long we retain your data for comments
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
What rights you have over your data
You can request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. If you have not contacted us using the embedded forms, Coosewartha will not hold any data on you – we do not collect any data which is not volunteered by initiating contact with us.
Where we send your data
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
